Back for another year, the SEN.com.au team gives you an insight into how every game will play out across the weekend.
Labelling something a ‘certainty’ in any sport is fraught with danger.
But we’ll attempt to find some anyway.
Here is what we consider certainties for the Round 1 Friday night clash between Collingwood and Sydney.
Nick Daicos 30+ disposals
Sydney is the one club that Nick Daicos hasn't picked up more than 25 touches against.
Across his three games against the Swans, Daicos has picked up 20, 23 and 25 disposals respectively, but in those games he had to deal with Ryan Clarke.
After Clarke was delisted last off-season, Daicos should have far more freedom to collect the footy and he should cruise past the 25-touch marker against the red and the white for the first time.
A tally of 30+ awaits the young superstar.
Jordan De Goey 25+ disposals
Jordan De Goey had a quiet week against GWS last Saturday (21 disposals) as he was minded at every contest by an opponent.
While the Swans won’t let the star Pie run free, he should have a lot more open space to work with this Friday.
Up against a midfield without Callum Mills, Luke Parker and Taylor Adams, De Goey should be the biggest bull at the contest whenever he goes near it.
Jack Viney and Clayton Oliver both got plenty of it last week, and De Goey should do the same this week against this midfield line-up.

Hayden McLean to kick 2+ goals
The 25-year-old tall forward has been in strong goal scoring form iwith 12 goals in his last six matches including a haul of four against the GWS Giants in Round 21 last season.
McLean kicked two goals against Melbourne in the season opener and should've had more if it weren't for a few easy misses.
What seperates McLean from his fellow tall forwards in Joel Amartey and Logan McDonald is his crumbing work in addition to his aerial strengths.
The Collingwood defenders also struggled to contain the Giants' key forwards last week with Callum Brown and Jesse Hogan kicking five goals and four goals respectively.
James Rowbottom to make 6+ tackles
James Rowbottom has firmly established himself as one of the competitions elite tacklers and toughest inside midfielders.
The 23-year-old led the Swans for tackles in Opening Round with seven and registered six tackles or more on 16 occasions.
Rowbottom particularly enjoys playing against the Pies and has averaged just under eight tackles a game in his last four meetings against Collingwood.
