Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has announced the re-brand of SENSpirit stations across the South West in WA, as it expands its reach deeper across the region.
Formerly known as SENSpirit 621am South West and SENSpirit 1494am Margaret River, the stations will now be known as SENSpirit 621am Bunbury and SENSpirit 1494am Southwest.
The change better reflects the signal strength of the SENSpirit 1494am Southwest, now being heard more clearly across Augusta, Margaret River, Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingyup, and surrounding areas.
Additionally, SENSpirit welcomes Jarred O'Brien as SENSpirit’s Content Manager and On-air Host. A familiar voice within the community, the Collie native brings a wealth of local knowledge and radio experience. Jarred will host Breakfast 6am – 8am Tuesday through Friday; Afternoons each weekday with a wealth of daily specialised local shows; and South West Saturday. Jarred’s on-air shows will reflect the essence of Bunbury and the South West as well as playing “the soundtrack to the best years of your life” with artists including Robbie Williams, Bryan Adams and P!nk.
Commentary of South West Footy League (SWFL) returns each weekend hosted by Alan Craney (Craney) with co-hosts John Baggetta, Cam Robbins and Darren McDonald; and ‘On The Ball with Craney and Kris’ continues to talk sport across the South West each Friday afternoon. SENSpirit remains the home of sport, with AFL right across the weekend and delivering a biased call of Dockers Nation and Eagles Nation; International Cricket, Perth Wildcats, Racing, Super Bowl and much more.
‘Scotty & Goss for Breakfast’ with Scott Cummings and Tim Gossage will now be heard each Monday morning 6am – 8am reflecting the sporting weekend and WA favourites, including ‘Mornings with Mark Duffield’, ‘The Run Home Hase & Marto’ (Former Fremantle great Paul Hasleby and former Perth Wildcats Damian Martin) and ‘Sportsday with Peter Vlahos' remain integral parts of the SENSpirit lineup.
SENSpirit's exciting new format demonstrates the network's ongoing investment in specialised programming tailored for South West WA. This local focus aligns with SEN's recent expansion through the addition of the Augusta-Margaret River Mail and Busselton-Dunsborough Mail regional newspapers.
