SEN to broadcast full India versus England Test Series

2024-01-25T09:00+11:00

Cricket fever continues to sweep the Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) airwaves, and the overs don't stop, with the commencement of the IDFC FIRST Bank India vs. England Test Series beginning tomorrow from 3pm AEDT, thanks to Henley Homes.

SEN, in partnership with talkSPORT UK, will broadcast the two vs. three battle of the ICC Men's Test World Rankings live around Australia; the two powerhouse nations will battle in the Five-Test Match Series from India, where the English side has not won a Test series since 2012.

Anchoring the coverage is former England batting star Kevin Pietersen, bringing his sharp insights into this clash of cricketing titans. Joining Pietersen will be English bowling greats, Steve Harmison and Darren Gough. With over 300 Test wickets between them, they will provide expert analysis of England's bowling attack and how to unsettle India's batsmen.

Adding flavour and expertise will be renowned Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle. Bhogle will offer key perspectives into the Indian batsmen and their spinners, who will pose a constant threat. Providing further analysis on the state of play are esteemed journalists Jarrod Kimber and Chetan Narula, who have the inside knowledge after years covering cricket leading into this highly anticipated series.

"We are thrilled to deliver ball-by-ball coverage of the IDFC FIRST Bank India vs. England Test Series to our passionate SEN listeners," said SEN Director of Sport Julian Bayard.

"With former England batting sensation Kevin Pietersen leading our commentary team of experts, cricket fans will get the sharp insights and in-depth analysis they crave into every on-field moment.

"Broadcasting major global sporting events like this demonstrates SEN's commitment to being Australia's Home of Sport."

SEN listeners will be spoilt for choice as the timing of this Test match coincides with the Australia v West Indies Test happening concurrently, offering fans the opportunity to tune in to either of these two exciting matches.

The first test between England and India begins today live from the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, from 3pm AEDT live across the entire SEN Network and streaming via the SEN App.
