After beginning the season with a 3-7 win-loss record, the Breakers have extended their winning streak to four after edging out the Tasmania JackJumpers by five points.
The Breakers, who are now knocking on the door of the top six after their recent hot form, had to grind their way to victory in the end, after being down by as much as 12 points early in the contest.
Parker Jackson-Cartwright’s game high performance of 27 points was the catalyst for the Breakers’ narrow victory, as he was on fire from behind the arc with a 3-5 shooting performance.
Sean MacDonald did everything he possibly could for the JackJumpers, as he shot an outstanding 7-9 from the three-point range despite his team’s narrow defeat.
