Adelaide free agent Tom Doedee has officially joined Brisbane.
As a restricted free agent, Adelaide had the ability to match Brisbane’s offer for Doedee, but opted not to.
The Crows are now set to receive an end of Round One compensation pick for losing Doedee, which currently sits at No. 19.
The 26-year-old played 11 games for the Crows in 2023 but missed the second half of the campaign after suffering an ACL injury.
He played 82 games for Adelaide from 2018 to 2023 after being taken originally at pick No. 17 in the 2015 Draft.
Crows list manager Justin Reid thanked Doedee for his eight years of service at West Lakes.
“Tom is a quality person who has brought a lot to our playing group and the club and we’d like to thank him for his contribution,” Reid said.
“We understand the nature of free agency in the industry and would like to wish Tom and his partner Emily all the best for the future.”
