2023-09-26T09:10+10:00

It was raining roughies for tipsters at SEN and theGreatTipOff.com over the past week, with double figure pops coming in from all angles.

With Spring racing kicking into gear, some of the country's leading form analysts are upping their game.

Read on to see who cleaned up and how they did it.

Jack Dickens flew the flag for the SEN crew, putting the bookies on notice after steering punters into 5 winners from 21 tips.

With an average win price of $6.22, there's no prizes for guessing that Dicko was able to find one at big odds.

It came late in the day at Flemington on Sunday, when the recently gelded Muramasa spanked them at the mouth-watering price of $18.50.

A fill-up for Dicko and a big statement as we approach the business end of the Spring carnival.

No stranger to featuring in this column, Hugh Fitzpatrick finished in second after a clinical tipping display.

In contrast to Dicko, the theme of the week for Hughey was all about hitting the bullseye reguarly as he boasted a 45% strike rate.

His 20 tips on Saturday delivered 9 winners for followers, with Miltarize ($6.30) in the Group 1 Golden Rose Stakes his standout.

He's now on a 2 month winning streak and you can't ask for a better time of year to be hitting your straps.

For the second consecutive week, Cameron Luke finished on the podium following another cracking performance.

The highlight came on Tuesday, when the radio host struggled to tip a loser.

From his 5 selections accross Swan Hill and Dubbo, Luke tipped 3 winners and 2 placings for a very tidy return.

There was plenty of carry on in the SEN studio when Hay Cliffy got home by a nostril paying $10.30.

It was a big week for theGreatTipOff team, with some eye-watering roughies getting home.

Coming out on top was Mark Hunter, who reminded everyone why he's often touted as Victoria's number one form analyst.

He started the week off with a bang at the midweek Sandown meeting, steering punters into $13 pop Taramansour in the 'Get Out Stakes'.

The demolition job continued the following day at Cranbourne, where Hunter tipped 4 winners on the 9 race card including Gabstar paying $16.50.

He then signed off in style by finding 3 winners at Flemington on Sunday, adding Matron Bullwinkel ($11.40) to his hit list.

Resident South Australian guru Heath Pope was in the thick of it again, finishing in second with $2K profit.

Morphettville proved a happy hunting ground for him once more, finding 2 double figure pops on Saturday's nine race card.

An average win price of $14 demonstrates the value of following a tipster who knows a track like the back of his hand.

Rounding out the top 3 was popular presenter and analyst Nic Ashman.

It seemed as though every man and his dog was on $1.40 rated Red Card in the third at Caulfield.

Not Nic though.

He observed that Cardigan Queen's first-up race wasn't run to suit the mare. With the drop back in distance and blinkers going on for Saturday, Ashman was confident she could cause a boilover.

And that she did.

Cardigan Queen snuck up on the rail to greet the judge at a mind blowing $35.10.
