Adam Cerra will play on Friday night after the AFL tribunal’s ruling on Tuesday.
Cerra had taken a rough conduct charge against Swan Tom Hickey to the tribunal in the hopes of being able to play against Melbourne in Round 12.

The charge of careless conduct, medium impact and high contact was disregarded with the 23-year-old’s insistence that he didn’t overly contribute to the dangerous nature of the tackle.
It follows a different verdict on Luke Parker’s appeal earlier in the night, who became the 17th player in 2023 to have his dangerous tackle charge upheld at the tribunal.
Carlton is already facing a raft of injury-enforced outs for the Melbourne clash, with Cerra’s finding a minor boost for the Blues.
