Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard has scored the most points in franchise history after scoring 71 against the Houston Rockets.
Lillard’s effort tied Elgin Baylor, David Robinson and Donovan Mitchell for the sixth-most points scored in a game in NBA history, with only hall of famers Wilt Chamberlain and Kobe Bryant having scored more.

Lillard was unstoppable from deep, hitting 13 three-pointers for the game and falling just short of tying Klay Thompson for the most threes in an NBA game (14).
The star is the second player to score 71 this year, with Donovan Mitchell having reached the mark in January.
Portland’s single game scoring record was previously 61 points, set by Lillard himself on two occasions in 2020.
The Trail Blazers beat the Rockets 131-114, with Lillard collecting six rebounds and six assists to go along with his monster night.
