Quinton Narkle has missed out on a pre-season supplemental selection list spot at Richmond.
The West’s Jordan McArdle reported the news on Tuesday afternoon, the day before the SSP comes to an end on February 15. Narkle is originally from Perth.
Narkle had been training at the Tigers since mid-December in the hopes of reigniting his career following his delisting at Geelong last year.
The 25-year-old played 41 games across six seasons at the Cats but was a consistent fringe player in his time under Chris Scott.
Narkle was competing with country footballer Kaelan Bradtke and overlooked draft prospect Luke Teal for the final list spot at Richmond.
It's unsure whether they have also been overlooked at this stage.
Perth product and former Geelong midfielder Quinton Narkle misses out on SSP rookie spot at Richmond ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. More on @TheWestSport soon.
