Wallabies release 2023 Bledisloe and Rugby Championship schedule

2023-02-10T12:48+11:00

The Wallabies have released their 2023 fixtures for the Rugby Championship and Bledisloe Cup.

Eddie Jones will begin his second tenure as Wallabies coach with a trip to Pretoria in July to take on the Springboks.

Australia are yet to win a match at the stadium which is 1300 metres above sea level, losing all seven fixtures at the ground.

The second match in the Jones era will be against Argentina at CommBank Stadium in Sydney. Their last encounter was disastrous for the Wallabies as Argentina recorded a 48-17 victory; their biggest win against Australia in history.

Australia has an excellent chance to secure their first Bledisloe Cup since 2002 with the first match to be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on July 29, where the Wallabies have won two of the three matches.

A week later, the Wallabies travel to Dunedin where they have won one sole game back in 2001.

These four matches will be crucial for the Wallabies as they prepare for the Rugby World Cup which begins in France on September 8.
