The Gold Coast Suns have received a massive boost with the news young gun Noah Anderson has signed a four-year contract extension at the club.
As first reported by the Herald Sun, Anderson’s fresh deal will see him through to free agency. The 21-year-old is coming off a career-best season in 2022 where he established himself as the club’s second-best midfielder behind Touk Miller and kicked a goal after the siren against Richmond in Round 17 to keep the Suns in the finals hunt at the time.
Anderson, a Victorian, was due to come out of contract at the end of the year and could have followed numerous players who have previously departed Gold Coast early in their careers.

However, his re-signing follows that of other prominent names Ben King, Matt Rowell, Jack Lukosius and Miller and provides a big morale boost for a club yet to play finals in its short history
“It’s really exciting. Gold Coast has felt like home since I was drafted and the playing group continue to drive me forward as a player and a person,” Anderson said.
“I feel at home and this is the best place for me to play footy.
“We want to play finals, that’s a big goal for us this year and the years ahead. Premierships is what we want and to make the community proud of us.”
Anderson, who was taken with pick two in the 2019 National Draft, joined the leadership group ahead of the 2022 season.
