New Zealand and Pakistan haven’t been able to be separated throughout the Test series in Karachi, and with two days to go in the second Test, the same remains.
After the first Test ended in a draw, the second seems destined to go the same way at stumps on day three. Pakistan is 9-407, trailing the Blackcaps by 42 runs in the first innings.

Saud Shakeel was the saviour for the home side on the third day’s play, knocking 124 not out and spending a staggering 336 balls at the crease.
Shakeel’s defiance had frustrated the Kiwis throughout the day, who could only take two wickets up until tea.
But Pakistan lost 4-12 inside five overs in the final session of the day, with Ish Sodhi and Ajaz Patel running through the tail on a spinning deck.

However, those two have also provided a small headache for Tim Southee as his most expensive bowlers, with Patel conceding over five runs an over in his first innings figures of 3-88.
Southee, Matt Henry and Darryl Mitchell are the other bowlers in the wickets.
The Kiwis will hope to take the final wicket early on day four before amassing a big lead and sending Pakistan back into bat.
