The AFL Rookie Draft for this year took place on Wednesday afternoon.
A total of 27 players were added by clubs following on from the 59 picks made in the National Draft across both Monday and Tuesday nights.
The most interesting name called out was that of midfielder Connor Blakely who was taken by the Gold Coast Suns.
Blakely, 26, was delisted by Fremantle in October but has found a new home after 78 games in purple. Joining him at the Suns is delisted GWS defender Jake Stein.
Former Hawthorn midfielder Daniel Howe will reunite with Alastair Clarkson after he was offered a lifeline by North Melbourne.
He played 96 games for the Hawks but will now suit up in royal blue and white in 2023.
The likes of Phil Davis (GWS), Ed Curnow (Carlton), Ryan Lester (Brisbane) and Paul Seedsman (Adelaide) were all re-listed by their respective clubs.
