A few hundred dollars is all it takes to own a racehorse previously belonging to Queen Elizabeth and King Charles

2022-11-01T08:45+11:00

Everyday Australians can now be one step closer to royalty, with MyRacehorse offering the opportunity to purchase micro-shares in a horse recently owned by the late Queen Elizabeth II and having forever etched his name in history being the first racehorse winner for King Charles III when saluting in the UK 4th October.

For just $250, racing fans can stake their claim to the crown and enjoy a slice of Royalty with the racehorse known as Just Fine.

Just Fine's Royal ties don't stop there; upon his arrival in Australia, he will be under the tutelage of Australia’s Queen of Racing, Gai Waterhouse, in partnership with Adrian Bott at Royal Randwick.

And if that wasn't enough, Just Fine also has strong lineage to current Melbourne Cup favourite Deauville Legend, both sired by Champion Irish racehorse Sea The Stars.

Access to this Royal opportunity is available thanks to MyRacehorse, who offer elite horse ownership at an affordable price with no ongoing fees, with the $250 securing a 0.02% stake in Just Fine.

MyRacehorse Ambassador, Jason Richardson, said: "It’s not every day you get to say you own a horse whose last owner was a King! Her Majesty the Queen loved her horses and to be able to race a horse formerly from her stable is a real privilege. We can’t wait to see Just Fine get to the races in Australia.”

Trainer Gai Waterhouse said: “What a wonderful thing that absolutely anyone can now

own a share in the horse formerly owned by a Queen and King. That’s the wonderful thing about MyRacehorse and horse ownership, whether you are Royalty or just a lover of the sport, you can be involved. I’m really looking forward to Just Fine arriving in Australia and getting started.”

MyRacehorse General Manager of Marketing & Partnerships, Ben Willis said: “We couldn’t be more excited to provide racing fans the opportunity to own and race a horse of the calibre and esteemed stature as Just Fine.

“He’s our royal horse to be trained by Australia’s Queen of Racing, Gai Waterhouse in partnership with Adrian Bott from Royal Randwick. His pedigree is elite being by Arc De Triomphe winner, Sea The Stars, who’s the stallion of current Melbourne Cup favourite Deauville Legend, champion stayer Stradivarius and Baeed – just to name a few. He comes to Australia off the back of a dominant 2000m win at Leicester and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can achieve in our middle distance/staying trips.”
