Ross Lyon looks set to become St Kilda coach after meeting with club powerbrokers for the third time in as many days according to Seven News.
Lyon was captured entering St Kilda’s RSEA Park headquarters in Moorabbin on Wednesday with the 55-year-old all but certain to return to the club he coached from 2007 to 2011.
The veteran coach told Seven’s Tom Browne that: “I’m going to meet the board, it’s just part of the (process).”
Lyon is St Kilda’s second most successful coach in club history having taken the club to three Grand Finals (including one replay) in his five years in charge.
The coach has recently worked as a media personality after being sacked by Fremantle before the end of the 2019 season.
His previous stint at St Kilda produced 76 wins from 121 games in charge.
