The Punting Plays for the deep end of the Spring Carnival are ready to fire.
Commencing on Caulfield Guineas, we’ll be betting with 100 units from this Saturday until Ballarat Cup Day on November 20th.
We have got six weeks to find a profitable margin!
Caulfield, October 8
Race 4 – Village Stakes
7. Gravina - Fit horse for Godolphin which will race on the speed and looks better set up than his stablemate Zethus.
Comes out of a race at Sandown behind I Wish I Win which rates quite highly.
10. Pintoff - On-pacer which did not come up last preparation and was subsequently spelled after two below-par efforts.
Comes back with Damien Oliver booked first-up and is a proven fresh winner.
Race 9 – Toorak Handicap
15. Uncle Bryn – The stable has done a ripper job to avoid the handicapper with this horse, while building up a very solid base of fitness in some strong races.
He ran Smokin’ Romans to within a length in the Naturalism and looks worthy of a decent each-way crack.
