It was a great Monday for Manchester United fans.
The Red Devils secured their first win of the Premier League season against arch rival Liverpool, winning 2-1 at Old Trafford.
It was the first victory of new manager Erik ten Hag’s tenure.
Jadon Sancho opened the scoring in the 16th minute when he controlled a cut-back ball from Anthony Elanga before turning his opponent then coolly side-footing home from next to the penalty spot.

United’s second goal came eight minutes into the second half when an errant pass from Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson opened the door for Anthony Martial.
The French attacker played a neat through-ball for Marcus Rashford who took one touch and fired beyond Alisson.

The Reds pulled a goal back on 81 minutes through Mo Salah who nodded home a deflection from close range.
But it wasn’t enough and United held on to secure their first lot of three points for the campaign, leaving Liverpool winless after three games.
Ten Hag was so happy after the match he unwittingly dropped an 'F-bomb' during his interview with Sky Sports.
“You can see what they can achieve because they can f---en play football,” he said.
The Dutchman realised and quickly apologised.
Former United defender Gary Neville was a massive fan of the slip up.
“I quite enjoyed it,” he laughed.
'They can f** play football!' 😂

That wasn’t the only fun for United who earlier signed Brazilian international Casemiro from Real Madrid.
The 30-year-old defensive midfielder has joined the Red Devils for a reported £60 million ($102m AUD).
United next meet Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday night with all the action available to be heard live on SEN.
