Richmond senior advisor Neil Balme has provided updates on injured stars Dustin Martin and Tom Lynch.
Martin and Lynch both missed last week’s loss to North Melbourne with respective hamstring injuries.
The pair won’t play in Friday night’s clash against Fremantle, but are expected to return to face Brisbane in Round 20.
“We expect them both back next week,” Balme told SEN’s Dwayne’s World.
“Stranger things can happen, but we’re pretty sure they will be OK.”

As the Tigers look to bounce back from two straight defeats, coach Damien Hardwick has demanded fairer treatment from umpires towards co-captain Toby Nankervis.
The ruckman conceded a game-high six free kicks last week and was reported for rough conduct on North Melbourne’s Flynn Perez.
The report involving Nankervis was later thrown out by the Match Review Officer.
Nankervis has conceded 49 free kicks this season – the most of any player in the AFL – compared to the 22 frees he has received from the officials.
“The fact of the matter is Toby gives away a free kick and sometimes the opposition don’t,” Hardwick told reporters on Wednesday.
“The same thing happens from time to time.
“We look at players walking across the line every time during the round and there’s 50 of those a game, and Toby got pinged for three of them.
“We spoke to the umpiring department about that and hopefully we’ve got a better result this week.
“At the end of the day, they (AFL) accept mistakes are made, like we do as coaches as well.
“Toby gets done for a report and a 50-metre penalty that gets withdrawn … he gets treated harshly.”
Richmond is clinging onto eighth spot ahead of their crunch match against the fourth-placed Dockers at Marvel Stadium.
