Lance Franklin could leave Sydney after reportedly receiving a lowball contract offer.
According to The Herald Sun, the Swans have offered the 35-year-old about $500,000 to play on in 2023.
Franklin reportedly wants a deal worth between $700,000 and $800,000, which could prove a major stumbling block for the Swans.
The Herald Sun understands Franklin will join a third AFL club or retire if his financial demands aren’t met and that he’s open to a move back to Melbourne.

Franklin, who kicked his 1000th AFL goal earlier this year, signed a nine-year, $10 million deal to join Sydney at the end of 2013.
The champion forward has kicked an equal team-high 34 goals in 14 games this season.
