Luke Hodge has made his selections for a massive round of football ahead.
Round 15 gives us four top-eight matches in what could be a season-defining weekend and former Hawk and Lion Hodge has dissected each fixture.
“In six of the nine games this week, I’ve actually tipped the teams that are lower on the ladder,” he said SEN’s Whateley.

Melbourne v Brisbane
“There’s so many questions with this game,” Hodge said.
“I’ve actually gone for the number two Melbourne to knock the Lions off at the ‘G.
“It’s a place where they (the Lions) haven’t been lucky enough to play much.
“I think Melbourne at home at the MCG with Steven May back will give them a little bit of trouble.”
Hodge’s tip: Melbourne
Western Bulldogs v Hawthorn
“Hawthorn are a team that are ready to pounce if you don’t come to play.
“I think their game style works pretty well against the Bulldogs.
“Hawthorn with their intercept game and Sam Mitchell’s will and want to attack, but they’ve also got that defensive structure that Clarko taught them for years.”
Hodge’s tip: Hawthorn
West Coast v Essendon
“This is a coin toss with West Coast (playing) at home.
“I’m giving faith in Essendon. The fact that they found a way to play their best football. If you make mistakes, who cares. Go and take that risk.
“If they can fulfil what they did last week, I’ve got Essendon going over there and having a really good win against West Coast.”
Hodge’s tip: Essendon
Carlton v Fremantle
“They (Carlton) have got belief and you could tell by the way they played (against Richmond) that they’ve still got belief in their game style.
“They wanted to continue to push it and hopefully they get a little bit of luck.
“But I’ve got the Dockers winning this one.”
Hodge’s tip: Fremantle
Geelong v Richmond
“Geelong have snuck under the radar, but I’ve got Richmond, with the form they had last week, to take on the Cats.
“Last week was only one game, but if they can continue that again, teams in that top eight are going to be sitting back going, ‘uh oh, we’re worried about this Tiger Army again’.”

Sydney v St Kilda
“I am backing the Saints, but it’s going to be a belter game.”
Hodge’s tip: St Kilda
North Melbourne v Adelaide
“Having North play down at Tassie, I’m thinking that’s probably their only shot to try and get one over the top of Adelaide.
“But I think Adelaide have just got that grit about them.
“It’s a toss of the coin.”
Hodge’s tip: Adelaide
Collingwood v GWS
“It is a danger game for Collingwood but the football they’ve shown over the last month is exciting.
“I think at home they should be good enough, but you can’t take GWS easy.”

Port Adelaide v Gold Coast
“I’ve got whoever loses this game as gone.
“Gold Coast have a game on Port Adelaide but they’ve got a tough schedule coming up.
“Whoever loses this game, their season is done.
“One thing we know about Gold Coast is you can’t count them out, this year especially.
“What Port did to Sydney over there (shows) they still worry a few teams. Got to go with the home team, got to go the Power.”
