Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury joined an exclusive club on the weekend.
Pendlebury, 34, became just the fourth player in VFL/AFL history to amass 9000 disposals, achieving the feat in the second quarter in Sunday’s thrilling win over Hawthorn.
The Magpies champion joined Brent Harvey, Kevin Bartlett and Robert Harvey in reaching the 9000-disposal mark.
It took Pendlebury 344 games to bring up the milestone.
Pendlebury, a six-time All-Australian, registered 25 touches at 84 per cent efficiency and eight score involvements against the Hawks.
Collingwood’s four-point win, their third victory on the trot, has moved them into eighth spot on the ladder.
