Anthony Hudson has recapped Geelong’s Friday night win over Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium.
After a seven goal to one first quarter, the Cats withstood a spirited Dogs fightback in the second half to post an important 13-point win in front of over 34,000 fans.
Hudson said a “barnstorming” Geelong start set them on their way to victory, underlined by the Cats' “extreme tackling pressure”.
“The only downside for Geelong was concussion for Tom Stewart,” Hudson said on AFL Nation’s Friday night recap podcast.
“The Dogs lost despite having nine more inside 50s.”
