There was Think It Over and Nash Rawiller asserting their dominance in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes whilst Knights Order was brilliant in his dominant Sydney Cup win under the guidance of Rachel King.
A boilover in the Australian Oaks saw El Patroness win impressively for Victorian trainer Danny O'Brien and jockey Damian Lane.
Royal Randwick will host two Group 1s this weekend with the All Aged and the Champagne Stakes.
