Kane Cornes was disappointed with a piece of vision released by the Collingwood Football Club after their 17-point victory over St Kilda on Friday Night.
The 300-gamer was scathing of the clip which saw 19-year-old Jack Ginnivan filming the scenes of adulation amongst his teammates after Round 1.
While Ginnivan himself was a strong contributor with two goals and five score involvements, Cornes says the youngster needs to “earn some respect” before celebrating wins in such fashion.
“That’s Jack Ginnivan you’ve played six games, just relax,” Cornes said on Channel Nine’s Sunday Footy Show.
“You finished 17th last year, you beat St Kilda who no one expects will do anything this year, stop carrying on.
“Earn some respect in the game before you go carrying on like that.”

The Port Adelaide great says it could be used as a source of inspiration for opposing teams in the coming rounds as a sign the Pies may be overly optimistic about where they’re at.
“If I’m (Adelaide coach) Matthew Nicks, I play Collingwood next week, I’m showing this vision and saying, 'Who do these guys think they are?',” Cornes said.
“You don’t see Geelong carrying on like that, you don’t see Richmond and dynasty teams carrying on like that.
“You’ve got to win in a humble way and earn some respect.
“Let your footy do the talking.”
Collingwood will be hoping the celebrations continue against the Adelaide Crows in their return to the MCG next Saturday afternoon.
