Adelaide has cemented themselves as minor premiers after a dominant 39-point win over St Kilda in the AFLW on Sunday.
In what was captain Chelsea Randall’s return game from injury, the Crows were dominant after quarter-time to run out 53-14 winners.
A dominant force in the AFLW’s short period, Adelaide will enter the finals as favourites in search of their third premiership.
Randall looked good in her return from a hamstring injury that has kept her out since Round 4, gathering 10 disposals.
“It was awesome, I’ve really missed footy,” Randall told the Seven Network post-game, via The Roar.
“It’s just unreal, it’s great to play footy with these girls and they’re a special bunch.
“I was just really trying to get my body right for my team.
“The docs and medical staff are fantastic and I’m just really chuffed that we were able to come away with the win today.”
Star duo Ebony Marinoff and Erin Phillips were once again everywhere for the Crows in the win, recording 25 and 19 disposals respectively.
Marinoff also laid a massive 12 tackles.
Sunday’s clash handed Saints legend Nick Dal Santo a 2-8 record in his first season as coach.
However, he maintained post-match that there were encouraging signs for the future, but there was plenty of work to do.
