The White Ferns have responded to their opening day loss to the West Indies with an eight-wicket drubbing of Bangladesh in the ICC World Cup.
Bangladesh scored 8/140 through 27 overs before rain halted play at University Oval in Dunedin.
Once the rain cleared, the White Ferns were unstoppable with the bat, posting 1/144 to comfortably chase down the runs.
Suzie Bates was instrumental in the win as she joined the 1000-run club in World Cups with her unbeaten half century on home soil.
The Kiwis will face world number one India on Thursday at Seddon Park as they aim to keep their World Cup dream alive.
