Co-trainer Ciaron Maher couldn’t be happier with Coolangatta ahead of Saturday’s $2m Magic Millions 2YO Classic at the Gold Coast.
The short-priced favourite has drawn an ideal gate for the feature and Maher feels her work since making the trip to Queensland has her primed for the weekend.
The unbeaten filly will jump from the middle of the field after connections pulled out barrier 13 at Tuesday’s barrier draw.
If no emergencies are to gain a start, the two-year-old will jump from barrier 10 under the guidance of superstar jockey James Mcdonald.
THAT WAS IMPRESSIVE!

“I’m very happy with her, I’m wrapped with how she came through her last run,” Maher said on SEN Track’s Bensley.
“We’ve given her an easy week, everything has gone to plan so far, she worked this (Tuesday) morning and James McDonald rode her and he gave her a glowing report.
“I couldn’t be happier with her at this stage.”
The daughter of Written Tycoon is currently rated a $1.95 in the feature over 1200m.
