Australia has made one change for the second Ashes Test in Adelaide starting on Thursday.
Captain Pat Cummins confirmed to reporters on Wednesday that Jhye Richardson will replace the injured Josh Hazlewood for the day-night clash at Adelaide Oval.
Richardson was the preferred replacement ahead of fellow quick Michael Neser.
The 25-year-old took five wickets for the match on Test debut against Sri Lanka in 2019. His hasn’t played a Test since February that same year.
Cummins also confirmed that opener David Warner will play despite suffering badly bruised ribs in the first Test at the Gabba.
Australia takes a 1-0 series lead to Adelaide after beating England by nine wickets in Brisbane.
