Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury will miss the final two weeks of pre-season training for 2021 due to a leg injury.
Magpies GM of Football Graham Wright says the 33-year-old has sustained a “minor setback” after copping a knock to his lower left leg at training last Friday morning.
Scans revealed a hairline fracture to the same leg that sidelined Pendlebury for the final four games of this year.

“Although frustrating for Scott, this is a minor setback,” Wright said in a club statement.
“Given his previous injury we are being cautious.
“He will need a minimal amount of time off his legs, but will be fine to go when the program returns to training in the new year.”
Pendlebury will have a plate inserted in his leg within the next 36 hours as he eyes a return to training in January.
The Collingwood champion signed a two-year contract extension in October.
