Collingwood is attempting to contact midfielder Jordan De Goey after a report in the New York Daily News stated he was arrested in New York.
The report says De Goey, alongside another man, was arrested for allegedly groping a woman and assaulting her friend.
The Magpie spent a night in custody accused of ‘forcible touching and assault’ and the club is now aware of the issue.
Collingwood released a statement on Sunday where they said they were yet to speak to the 25-year-old.
“Collingwood is aware of a report involving Jordan De Goey,” the statement read.
“The club is attempting to contact Jordan, who is in the USA, to determine the facts of the matter.
“The club will not be in a position to comment further until it has done so.”
De Goey is abroad after undertaking off-season training at the W Training Facility in California.
