The West Coast Eagles have confirmed the departure of a trio of players in the wake of the 2021 season.
Premiership player Mark Hutchings and Brendon Ah Chee have not been offered new contracts while Nathan Vardy has announced his retirement.
Ruckman Vardy, who also featured in the 2018 premiership side, has opted to call time on his 77-game career and will move back to country Victoria for family reasons and an employment opportunity. The 30-year-old played 52 games for the Eagles after crossing from Geelong (25 games) prior to the 2017 season.
Midfielder Hutchings finishes up in the blue and gold having played 120 games over nine seasons. He was an integral member of the 2018 flag side, playing 20 matches that season, and a key role on Steele Sidebottom in the narrow Grand Final win over Collingwood.
Ah Chee played a variety of roles during his four years with the club. He joined from Port Adelaide before the 2018 season and played 31 times in Eagles colours, 16 of which came in 2020.
