Western Bulldogs defender Ryan Gardner is the latest player caught up in COVID drama, making him unavailable for Round 22 selection following a visit to a Tier 2 exposure site.
Per current Tasmania rules, the 24-year-old wasn't allow to enter the state after visiting the site, preventing him from being selected for Saturday's game against Hawthorn.
“Gardy (Ryan Gardner) unfortunately was on the end of a 14-day tier two exposure, so we couldn’t consider him,” coach Luke Beveridge told Fox Footy.
Gardner joins a list of players, some including Rowan Marshall (St Kilda) and Toby Greene (GWS), who have missed at least one game as a result of attending a COVID-19 exposure site.
