Geelong has lost defender Tom Stewart to a foot injury.
Stewart has been withdrawn from the side named to take on St Kilda on Saturday.
The Cats have stated the star defender will seek specialist advice to determine the extent of the damage.
Given the proximity to finals, Geelong would be worried about losing one of their key pillars at the pointy end.
Stewart has played 20 games this season, averaging 24 disposals and nine marks per game.
