GWS star Toby Greene may face MRO scrutiny for this elbow to the throat of Patrick Dangerfield.
The incident occurred in the first quarter of the game and left the Brownlow Medallist in a bad way and needing medical attention on the bench.
Greene had the ball when the contact was made, but he did extend his arm and make high contact with Dangerfield.
The MRO has been tough to read with elbows this year. Lance Franklin was given a week for one before the AFL Tribunal overturned the call.
Others, including Richmond’s David Astbury, have simply escaped with a fine.
Dangerfield was subbed out of the game at quarter time because of a throat injury. He was taken to hospital to assess the extent of the injury.
