The AFL has confirmed the fixture for Round 16, with Essendon’s first visit to GMHBA Stadium since 1992 headlining a bumper four days of matches.
Thursday night football continues, with the struggling Gold Coast to host Richmond at Metricon Stadium.
The Cats take on the Bombers on Friday night, while Shaun Burgoyne will play his 400th game on Saturday night as Hawthorn takes on Port Adelaide at Marvel Stadium.
Sydney will ‘host' West Coast at GMHBA Stadium on Sunday, in the second NSW fixture to be rescheduled as a result of Sydney's COVID outbreak.
