One of rugby league’s most famous suburban grounds has a new naming rights parner, with Manly’s Brookvale Oval now officially named 4 Pines Park.
The first official game under the new name is set for Friday night, when Manly host North Queensland in a highly anticipated clash.
4 Pines have been a Senior Partner and the Official Beer of the Manly Sea Eagles since 2019, and have now become a Premier Partner with the ground to be named 4 Pines Park until at least 2024.
The company is a Northern Beaches local, with 4 Pines HQ Brewery less than a kilometre from Brookvale Oval.
4 Pines Chief Operating Officer Todd Atkinson told Matty Johns how excited he was about the “worst kept secret” in rugby league.
“We’re very excited, our brewery is 800 metres from Brookvale Oval,” Atkinson said on SEN 1170.
“We started 13 years ago in Manly, our brewery there has been the unofficial watering hole for Manly fans to celebrate and commiserate along the way.
“We really couldn’t be prouder to announce 4 Pines Park.”
“Beyond what we do in the footy season and in match we’re really looking forward to what we might do in the off-season.
“(We’re looking to) bring some new events to 4 Pines Park, music, cinema all that kind of fun stuff.”
