St Kilda’s season slumped from bad to worse on Sunday night, dominated by Port Adelaide in a nine-goal loss.
The Saints only managed 39 points as the Power did as they pleased.
Club great Nick Dal Santo believes the club was defined by pressure around the ball in 2020 and has lost that identity.
“Every single one of them except Jack Steele and maybe Rowan Marshall needs to pull their socks up,” Dal Santo told SEN Breakfast.
“They’ve had some losses this year, 75 points, 86 points and 54 yesterday.
“When people ask what’s wrong with them, it’s more than one thing, it’s more than the potency when they go forward, it’s a combination of everything.
“They’ve lost their mojo and what made them a really good team last year was you could guarantee they would rock up and put immense pressure on the opposition.”
The Saints sit 16th on the ladder after six games and have a must-win clash with Hawthorn this weekend.
They then travel to take on Gold Coast before games against Geelong and the Bulldogs.
