The 2021 AFL Grand Final will return to its traditional afternoon slot, according to AFL Media’s Damian Barrett.
The league experimented with a night Grand Final as part of the many changes forced upon the league by COVID-19 in 2020.
The call remains one that divides the footballing public, with some within the league staunch supporters of moving the game to a night slot permanently.
Barrett adds that the game will take place on September 25th with the first bounce at 2:30pm AEST.
The AFL Commission agreed on Wednesday to return the game to its traditional slot and informed club presidents that afternoon.
