Melbourne announce three delistings

2020-09-23T11:31+10:00

Melbourne has announced the delistings of Josh Wagner, Corey Wagner and Kyle Dunkley following the conclusion of their season.

Dunkley, who is the brother of Western Bulldogs midfielder Josh, was taken in the mid-season draft in 2019 and went on to play five games last year.

Josh Wagner has been at Melbourne since 2016, playing 42 games in five seasons but only featured twice in 2020.

Meanwhile, younger brother Corey didn’t play any games this year after playing 11 times at AFL level for the Dees in 2019.

“I’d like to thank Kyle, Corey and Josh for their contributions to the Melbourne Football Club in recent years,” Melbourne GM of Football Josh Mahoney said in a club statement.

“It’s a difficult period for them and we wish all three of them the best of luck in the future.”

Melbourne finished in ninth position, narrowly missing out on a spot in the finals.
