Ex-Sun banned by ASADA after positive drug test

2019-11-04T13:25+11:00

Former Gold Coast Sun Josh Glenn has been hit with a four-year ban by ASADA after returning a positive drug test last year.

Glenn tested positive for 19-Norandrosterone and 19-Noretiocholanolone - which are both prohibited under the World Anti-Doping Code.

The two types of anabolic steroids were found in the 25-year-old’s sample following Norwood’s SANFL match against Glenelg in June, 2018.

Glenn is banned from playing any SANFL or any AFL-recognised football until August 10, 2022.

He played five games for the Suns before he was delisted at the end of 2015.
