Dermott Brereton and Wayne Carey have been unveiled as the two coaches for this year’s EJ Whitten Legends Game.
Two legends of their respective clubs with seven premierships between them, they’ll bring impressive resumes to the Vics and the Allies respectively.
AFLW stars Daisy Pearce (Vics) and Sabrina Frederick (All Stars) will also bolster the coaching ranks.
This year’s Legends Game has been revitalised this year, with an AFLX format set to be implemented at AAMI Park.
With gates open from 6.30pm, the 2019 E.J. Whitten Legends Game will be broadcast from 7.30pm EST on Friday August 30 by Channel 7, 7mate and Foxtel, as well as via the Telstra AFL Live Pass and Kayo. Tickets are available from ticketek.com.au.
