Sydney Thunder skipper Shane Watson has scored the first hundred of BBL|08, smashing an even 100 off 62 balls against the Brisbane Heat at the Gabba.
Watson belted eight fours and six sixes to become the first player to score a century in the BBL, Indian Premier League and a Twenty20 International.
The 37-year-old rolled back the years as he went about destroying the Heat’s bowling attack, going from 50 to 100 in just 24 balls.
