SEN Time On host Sam McClure says Gold Coast midfielder Aaron Hall will join North Melbourne during the upcoming trade period.
Hall – who is out of contract at the end of the season – has been linked with a move to the Kangaroos as they look to add more speed through their midfield.
To make matters worse for the Suns, it looks like they will be losing the 27-year-old for next to nothing.
“Aaron Hall will be joining North Melbourne in a trade that won’t see Gold Coast get much in return,” McClure told SEN’s Time On.
McClure also provided an update on the contractual situation involving West Coast’s Andrew Gaff, confirming that the Roos have a substantial offer on the table for the native Victorian.

“Andrew Gaff will only be playing for one of two sides next year: it will be West Coast – who have offered him a six-year deal, or it will be North Melbourne – who have offered him a seven-year deal,” he added.
“The total of that deal averages out to be more than $1.2 million per season.
“West Coast’s deal is a very god deal, but it’s under one million dollars, you always get more to leave your club than you do to stay.”
